Atlantis™ now introduces a new unique digital product, Atlantis™ abutment core file. Atlantis™ abutment core file is a high precision digital file of an Atlantis™ abutment, which can be used for designing a coping before receipt of the final abutment.
The file is ordered in Atlantis™ WebOrder at the same time as the Atlantis™ abutment and can be downloaded by using Dental Wings software release 2.5.5 or higher.
The Atlantis™ abutment core file eliminates the need to scan the abutment, thereby creating a convenient workflow for the laboratories. The file represents the outer surface of the manufactured Atlantis™ abutment (without the screw hole) and includes all corresponding scanned data.
By ordering an Atlantis™ abutment core file, the laboratory will reduce the turnaround time of the final restoration.
